The course explores topics such as

Unit 1: Sustainable Ecosystems
Students learn foundational ecological principles and explore the importance of biodiversity.

  • Final Exam (cumulative knowledge and application of all units)
  • 70% of the final grade is based on in-course activities, including:
    • Assignments and lab investigations

    • Case studies and reflective journals

    • Unit quizzes and group projects

  • 30% of the final grade is based on final evaluations:
    • 10% Culminating project on an environmental issue

    • 20% Final written exam assessing scientific understanding and sustainability applications
