Students explore the principles of motion and the forces that affect them.
Lessons include:
  • Kinematics in One and Two Dimensions

  • Newton’s Laws of Motion

  • Friction, Inclined Planes, and Circular Motion

  • Non-Inertial Frames and Apparent Forces

  • Applications in Transportation and Engineering

Unit 2: Energy and Momentum

This unit focuses on the conservation and transfer of energy.v

  • 70% of the final grade is based on coursework, including:

  • 30% of the final grade is based on final evaluations:
    • 10% Culminating project (e.g., physics experiment or presentation)
